Our Commitments
Grounded in Growth. Profit With Purpose.

At The Savvy CMO, how we grow matters as much as how much we grow. These commitments guide the way we work with clients, treat the people on our team, and show up in our community. They are also how we hold ourselves accountable.
The Savvy CMO exists to help purpose-driven businesses and nonprofits committed to equity and impact grow in ways that lift others up. Through ethical, values-aligned marketing built on our RREV Growth Ecosystem™, we help good work reach the people who need it, so that our clients' success and the wellbeing of their communities grow together.
The RREV Growth Ecosystem™
-
Relationships: Long-term partnerships built on trust, with our clients and with the communities they serve.
-
Revenue: Measurable growth goals for every client, with honest reporting on results.
-
Ethics: No marketing built on shame, fear, or scarcity, and careful thought about who might be left out of every message.
-
Values: Partnering with leaders whose growth lifts others, and aligning every campaign with the client's mission.
We are committed to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). We believe growth should lift others up, not come at their expense. That is why we work to dismantle barriers that keep people from being seen, heard, and remembered, treat everyone we work with fairly and with respect, and do our best to make sure no one is left out of the messages we create.
How we put it into practice
-
In our business: We treat our contractors fairly, with clear agreements, flexible schedules, and timely payment.
-
For our clients: We create inclusive, ethical marketing, guided by our inclusive communications and ethical content guide. We are proud to partner with clients who serve communities that are often underrepresented or overlooked.
-
In our community: We serve on nonprofit boards and support organizations working for a more just and equitable Sacramento.

What you can raise with us
Any concern about how our work, decisions, or conduct affects you, including the quality of our services, billing or contracts, treatment of contractors, marketing that feels misleading or exclusionary, privacy, or unfair treatment. If a concern falls outside our control, we will explain why in writing and point you to the right place when we can.
What Happens Next
We will update you at least every 5 business days while your concern is open. If we need more time, we will tell you why and share a new date.
Your protection
No one will lose work, pay, or a business relationship for raising a concern in good faith. You may ask us to keep your identity confidential, and we will ask your permission before sharing details with anyone else. Outcomes stay confidential between the people involved.
If you're not satisfied
Clients may use the negotiation, mediation, and arbitration process in our Business Agreement. Website users may use the dispute resolution process in our Terms of Service.
